It was my state first!

Okay, myopia aside. The half that is north of the Pfeiffer-Burns Campground/Turlock/Yosemite would by itself be the best d*&m state in the country. The closer to Humboldt you are, the more FF it gets.

The half south of that line is a mediocre desert heckhole with a few beaches and Knott's Berry Farm.
