At this rate, we'll hit 1,000,000 cases by Monday.

There are already over a million cases of coronavirus in the United States, and probably several million at this point, as the serology studies have indicated. However, why was there such a significant increase in the number of cases today? Coronavirus is on the verge of overtaking the Vietnam War in terms of the number of officially recorded casualties, and I don't think the White House's estimate of 60,000 is going to hold up.

I am sad to say that 60,000 is probably going to be reached by this coming Tuesday (4/28).

Ugh, New York is reporting 190 deaths today compared to just 41 last Sunday.  California reporting 53 today compared to 26 last Sunday.  We are already nearing the nationwide death totals from last Sunday, and Illinois, Massachusetts, and Michigan all have yet to report anything.  Perhaps any optimism about a longer term decline was premature.

Not sure where you are getting the NY numbers. NY reported 141 deaths today (second-lowest since March, after this past Friday at 134) against 207 last Sunday.

It shows up on the Worldometers site:

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/

Close to 91,000 deaths as of today, and it looks probable that we will reach 100,000 by Memorial Day.

It must be an intentional stylistic choice for Biden's official Twitter pic to have the mask crooked, but I don't know why.

Like when I saw that, all I could think was that someone's blind, confused, old grandpa needed help adjusting his disheveled, oversized mask.

Just keep pushing that kind of sentiment--and then you'll see why Trump is slipping badly with the over 65 group and why he's losing.
