Also, another hole in the pregnancy theory is that hormonal mood swings are very rapid, and while it'd be understandable if she said things like "Never talk to me again" or "Why don't I just kill myself!' in a fit of pregnancy craziness, one would expect that to flip into the reverse fairly quickly... certainly no long period of time.

A related update to Mr. Morden's update:

I'm going to try and learn Javanese!  Or, as an Australian furniture exporter/counter-terrorism language trainer told me last week, "a bloody difficult language"

The only thing I can do now in the language though is order another beer and say thank you when it comes.

So if I were to start doing Swedish studies I shouldn't bother learning Swedish?
