Yet anyone who was to seriously attempt to use that map would instantly have no friends, so I think it's ok.

What do you mean? I was planning on using that map as the one I use to update weekly moves this time...

If you do, I'm going to focus all of my troops on taking over Switzerland

Has anybody heard from Happy? Just checking...

I have also not heard from him.  The only player I've not heard from, actually.  And I sent him a message exactly a week ago.

But I'm Germany, it's not completely out of the blue.

WHAT IS LEWIS PLANNING?

I think whether he is running or the country or Gustaf is is extremely relevant to my moves.

Especially because I've messaged Gustaf about a theory involving my possible opening moves.

I can deal with whomever.  I don't want to pass on the rightful person.  I mean, Gustaf never even responded to my question haha.

Can we wait 24-48 hours before submitting?

Yeah I'm not going to submit my moves until I figure out what's going on.  I'm basically putting a hold on everything until what's going on becomes clear.

I think that's the best course of action at this point.  Smid, maybe you should send out a memo for people not to confirm their moves with whatever alliances etc. that they're in and whatnot until we knows what's ups with the Englands.

ah ok.  I hope I didn't send that to someone else Wink  Regardless I would not concede to denying someone six months of opportunity based off of one, apparently missed, PM

I'm glad we were both thinking of the same thing.

I once watched that movie twice, back to back, with long commercials.

btw will Turkey help me in invading England?

I think it's only fair to give Gustaf a few days of diplomacy time.  But if he wants to lone wolf this shit then that's his dealio

I'm still not going to submit moves until I figure out what's going on Smiley

I sent in my moves.  I think we're ready to move on whenever Gustaf feels he's comfortable.

Interesting that Italy didn't at least try moving Rome to Venice just in case that master plan actually worked.

I was the only player without a blocked move, thus I am currently in the lead Smiley

More bouncing than a bouncy castle party in that turn...

And the underlying question is the diplomacy - how many were disputes, how many were accidents, and how many were arranged?

I arranged them all.  It was me.  That's why I didn't have any Smiley

I feel like this game is forcing me to tone down on my sarcastic quips, I have to insert Smiley's after my jokes so people don't want to all invade that asshole Germany haha

Hey I'm going to Spain on Friday night for a week.  I won't be back until Saturday night/Sunday morning PST.

Thus:
1) Anyone who wants to diplomacize with me should do so by Friday afternoon, California time.
2) I'll need a stand-in or a slight delay...

I don't think I'd need a whole week off without a stand-in.  Just until like Monday or Tuesday or something.

Whatever everyone else wants.  I mean, I'd be more that happy to let someone else manage it too, just to make sure everyone doesn't scheme against me Smiley  I'll have to go on a mad diplomacy hustle when I get back though haha.

I don't necessarily want to have a precedent of delays and stuff, I haven't been part of one of these games from the beginning, so I don't know the standard operating procedure.

ok.  Hopefully no one submits builds before I convince them about how swell my ideas are, but that sounds more than acceptable.

France didn't submit any moves?  That's weird because Deadman just asked me a couple days ago if we were submitting moves this week (confused by skipping last week) and I told him we most certainly were.

Austria's take-over of Greece is strategically nifty -- I had to do a double-take to figure out how the heck that had happened.
