I actually agree with you.   Except perhaps a different execution style slightly less brutal would be appropiate to maintain moral superiority.

I'm fairly liberal and normally I would disagree with that.  But eliminating the 62 terrorists (obviously they're not innocent if terrorists want them free) would force that plan to backfire.  It would save lives in the future by possibly ending this stupid hostage tactic.

At the very least, now that we have some names, we know who some of the serious terrorists are and should grill them for information.

None of us here have blamed Bush for Byrd, and by far the majority of liberals haven't.  I've been backlashing against this business about "most liberals" and "liberals" passing the blame for Johnson to Bush.  The terminology is misleading ad false.  If you want to rant about "radical liberals" hating their country instead of liberals in general it probably wouldn't recieve a response from me.

The Arabs need to condemn this, absolutely.  The Arab governments need to strong-arm the top clerics and orchestrate some preaching in all of the mosques against terrorism.  I don't care if the Saudis have to bribe the immams, but they need to preach against it.

And as I pointed this out last time, I have condemned almost all of the offensive left-radicals on this forum at one point or another.  I haven't condemned Gore or Kennedy beyond expressing disapproval.

I think we'd be stupid to start a land invasion with Iran.  We could win it, but it'd be many times harder than Iraq.  The country has a democratic movement, coup the bastards.
