I'd be less generous, but it takes f'n long to actually arrange a wedding.  Like, a 100 hours spread out over several months, easy.

Maybe we can all pitch in for Mechaman to drive down and run a lifefeed of the event.  I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find in the local papers.

Only if there is alcohol and teenagers at this event.

The Atlas fund will provide you with flasks and booze.

I'll ship you the cheap Dominican rum, if you get it clear, you can mix it in with your drinks or even just keep it in a clear water bottle.  It's Oklahoma, I doubt anyone will notice you drinking from your water bottle, shuddering, and chasing it with water from your water glass.

Isn't it 'livefeed'?  Lifefeed sounds like Soylent Green.

By the way I only visited this thread because it was referenced in Comedy Goalmine.

Yeah, BO is famous for holding to his promises not to rush things, it's only the last 100 out of 100 times or so things got pushed forward way faster than planned

Disney World?  Nothing more romantic comes to mind?

Btw I've been with[ish] a girl for almost 3 years and we talk almost every day too.  She'd punch me [or run away] if I tried to throw a ring at her any time between now and the next 4-5 years though. Wink

What?  You live on the Lower East Side of Manhattan!  Wink

What does that have to do with marriage?  Granted, Puerto Ricans may marry a bit younger, but still.

I've already promised her for her 27th birthday in October 2011, I am going to take her to Branson, Missouri to spend the weekend!!

Whoa, you're really living it up there.  Branson, Missouri?  If you're going to go that far, why not visit the Great Wall of China or the Eiffel Tower?

Gah, I had to go there for a family reunion when I was 13-14.

I certainly wouldn't take anyone I respect there.

This story will be quite funny if you think about it.  It's about our house decorations.  I am a huge red, white, and blue fan as I love this country dearly.  She has a fondness for Oriental things.  She likes Oriental lettering, designs, and yes, Japanese Anime (though, she's not annoying with her anime like some people are.)  Wouldn't it be funny if in our home we have on our living room wall, an American Flag right next to Chinese lettering?  We could have a caption under the photographs saying, America - Made in China!!!

The term Oriental is slightly offensive, FWIW.

In front of "lettering?"  Any reference to "lettering" seems so outdated that the word "Oriental" in front of it almost seems modern.
