He's from Montana, A former four year state attorney general, the incumbent Governor of Montana in his second term which he just won in November with a bare majority. Romney and Trump won huge in Montana both in 2012 and 2016, which were both years Bullock won his Gubernatorial races. Fiscally conservative, but liberal on social issues. Was the first MT Gov to officiate same-sex wedding, gender pay equality, and medicaid expansion to just name some. MT has had a pretty big budget surplus all 4 years he's been in office. A western Governor that could appeal to white, working class, blue collar voters. But also young people.
