He was probably going to lose reelection anyways so this probably increases the chances the democrats hold this seat.

Lol, you don't know Harry Reid at all, do you?


I definitely respect Reid for this. As much as I love Robert Byrd, he passed the time that he should have retired by a long shot.
This argument got old and Reid probably knew it. He only won in 2010 because he was facing angle Roberson or Krolicki would have sent this man to the nursing home and he knew that so he probably decided to go out on his own terms

Republicans despise him so much because he was terribly effective as majority leader.
Or maybe because he's super corrupt, stifled any type of debate, and went full joe Mccarthy on Mitt Romney
