I can't believe how this forum has fallen from grace. A news story topic turned into bashing just because some of our leaders might oppose "lifestyle choices" of our majority minority message board.

Mike Pence is more of a man that most of you are or "claim" you are.

Didn't you get rejected from the Army?

The truth is that Mike Pence has far more decency than a great many people here.

Mike Pence is a politician who values freedom.  He does that moreso than Trump.  More than once, he has seen angry demonstrators at his events, some actually protesting him, making some pretty out there remarks.  Pence's response has usually been something to the effect of "This is what Freedom looks like and sounds like."

In that regard, there are a slew of folks here who would do well to live up to Mike Pence in that regard; to recognize that the expression of what they would find to be opposing views is, indeed, what Freedom looks like and sounds like.  They can't do so because they don't want "Freedom".  They don't want an honest exchange of ideas.  They want an Echo Chamber, full of snark, and where they can (as Meclazine has poined out) pounce on a solitary opponent in packs like hyenas.  (They lack the courage to stand alone with their beliefs.)  The mass of leftist hyenas drowning out conservative opposition is what "Freedom" looks like and sounds like to them.

I wish Donald Trump would be more like Mike Pence in that regard.  I wish much of Atlas had that sort of introspection.  Sadly, Trump has a greater potential for growth than the Echo Chamber crowd here, and that's saying something.

Mike Pence is a politician whose policies started and prolonged a nascent AIDS epidemic when he was governor of Indiana. Decent he is not.
