What site has the most current result/margin?

The site you're on (or the Colorado SOS)

Its still a 2.5% margin, 48.5-46.0 according to all sources.

No, they haven't updated. Check the Colorado SOS or Dave Leip's data on this site for the most recent results. It went down to about a 2.1% lead.

One one hand, it's impressive that Mark Udall came pretty close despite running a poor campaign, Gardner running a perfect campaign, the environment being terrible and the media being very biased in Gardner's favor.

On the other hand, Udall still lost so a loss is a loss and a big name in Colorado politics did go down in flames. It's also embarrassing Udall won the suburbs and still lost. But candidates like Cory Gardner are few and far between so let's see how the GOP does against Michael Bennett in 2016.

Is Bennet really weaker than Udall? After that campaign, I wonder...

Udall was more established and known than Bennet but Bennet is a more smarter and skilled politician. He's not dumb enough to make himself look like a retard when asked what his favorite books are. He's also more of a fighter. Almost immediately after being nominated for the senate, despite being an obscure nobody, he had to turn around and engage n a bloody primary with Andrew Romanoff. Then, he had to turn right around and engage in a brutal campaign with Ken Buck (which he was always considered to be behind in).

If the republicans put up Coffman or Norton, Bennett is likely dead in the water. Renuart or Gessler would give him a tough challenge also.

ok, this is a really dumb statement. "dead in the water"?
