I'd like to get some input on this before writing an amendment, but I think there should be some kind of provision for English classes. Making sure refugees have an opportunity to learn the language would do a lot to promote social cohesion and lessen potential tension.

I approve of this bill since it aims to accomplish the goals of helping people living in the horrendous situation in Syria in a way that insists responsibility and accountability on our government's part. This bill also aims to not cause harm to our existing citizens' security and economy. I believe that Atlasia's diverse people are better suited to taking in these refugees than most other countries. This bill takes a excellent and intelligent approach to solving this issue.  I'm willing to vote on this bill as it is.

This is already in the bill.

I didn't find it very specific. It's not a sticking point that makes me oppose the bill, but I find that there may not be resources in host communities, especially smaller towns. I'd like to see something that refers to a curriculum or sets proficiency as a goal. I'm afraid there's not enough accountability.
