If Perez had pulled that, many people would be going crazy. This is an incredibly shady move from Ellison's team, assuming it was done directly by them.

Jehmu Greene got 0.5 votes, dropped out an endorsed Perez. Perez 0.5 votes away from victory lol.

Does Ellison have any realistic chance of winning? The one abstention could go for Perez and it's finished.

He needs all of the Brown votes + one abstention.

Source from Ellison team feels confident, thinks they get all of her votes.

Ellison's campaign source says they still think have it -- says they will get all of Sally Brown's votes. We will see.

If we go with the assumptions that every Boynton Brown voter will go with Ellison and Greene's 0.5 vote will go to Perez, with them reallocated it would be Perez 214 to Ellison 212. In the 1st ballot, there was also 1 vote for Buttigieg, 1 Abstention, and 2 blank ballots.

Ellison camp hoping that a combo of people abstaining to lower needed number to win & picking up a few more votes will put him over the top

It's a smart 1st ballot tactic if true, but not a good tactic for the 2nd ballot...

Where have you heard that?

Can't find the other thing that says 5 votes, whoops. Definitely saw it somewhere though.

There are a few reports out there that Tom Perez has, in fact, won. We'll find officially in a few if those are true.

Has this been mentioned?

Bill de Blasio just left the DNC meeting after spending nearly 10 hours standing by the wall checking his phone - last big player to leave
