Trump is holding a rally on Tuesday in Indiana. Don't get too excited, however:

Also, Christie will be with Trump in Virginia on Monday:

Apparently Michael Flynn's registration as a Democrat might cause some ballot issues in Florida and West Virginia.

He'd likely change his registration to Republican.

Well according to Florida statute 99.021 2(b2), someone cannot qualify for the nomination of a party if that person has been registered to any other party a year beforehand.

You seriously think Florida's republican SOS is going to enforce that? In your dreams dude. And if you think "Dems will make him do it", think again. Taking Trump off the ballot will just give Johnson 20 to 30 percent of the vote in Florida because of people turning out for Rubio/the house who simply can't bring themselves to vote for a Dem for president. 20 to 30 percent of the vote in the third most populous state is a YUGE leg up to Johnson in getting to 5% nationally and securing the libertarian party federal funding in 2020. DEMS DON'T WANT THAT.

And as far as West Virginia goes, if Trump's not on the ballot, Johnson would actually win the state.

You really think West Virginia is going to vote for Clinton (or any Presidential D) under any circumstances when Obama, who she's running for a third term of, lost LITERALLY EVERY COUNTY, when Hillary is very anti-coal, when she lost LITERALLY EVERY COUNTY to a SOCIALIST, and when they gave a convicted prisoner over 40% of the vote in a low turnout primary against the incumbent president after he had already clinched renomination, in a time when the republican primaries were uncompetitive, in a contest that not a single media organization mentioned until after it happened?

Whoaaaaaa there you need to take a breather. I was literally just pointing at the fact that current state statutes could cause some potential hesitation on picking Flynn. Don't take my ball and run with it off a cliff.

It looks like Pence will be attending the Tuesday fundraiser in Indianapolis, IN, but it's still unconfirmed whether he will attend the Westfield rally afterwards. However, he is expected to attend both events.

So how long until Pence's support for TPP becomes an issue?

Trump says he'll decide in the next 3 or 4 days, which suggests there will be no Pence announcement tomorrow. He's down to 5 people including Flynn, but is leaning towards someone political and not military.

I recall Biden saying something like "it's not me" right before he was announced as VP.

PLEASE be Pence so Mitch Daniels can come back and save the day by running for Governor.

Term-limited?
Consecutive terms.

When does the rally start? I can't imagine Trump would announce his VP tonight unless it was Pence.

Pence walked off the stage when Trump came up, so I doubt he's being announced as VP tonight.

Gingrich is seeming more and more likely to me. Trump presumably knew who his VP pick was when he revealed the Friday showcase event, which means he knew before the rally tonight. If he knew his VP pick was Pence, why not just announce Pence tonight in Indiana?

It's not uncommon for VP rollout plans to be advertised before an actual decision on the pick has been reached.  I don't think it's clear at all that Trump already knows who he's going to pick.

I guess maybe I was giving Trump a little too much credit for assuming he's picked his VP 3 days before a deadline.

Kushner, Ivanka and Don Jr meeting with Pence at his house today. That's still the way I'm leaning after abandoning my original guess of Sessions.

Well that can lean someone one of two ways, depending on whether it was a "please be the VP, we don't want to have to settle for Newt or Sessions" meeting, or a "looks like we're all prepared for your VP showcase on Friday" meeting. I guess I'm leaning back towards Pence now.

This isn't the keynote address right?

Also, Trump himself is apparently at Pence's house now as well.

Trump VP pick is not settled, per @SaraMurray. Kids are pushing Pence, Trump's gut says Christie. Trump & Christie to talk today.

Governor campaign stops?

.@mike_pence's campaign schedule includes stops in Fort Wayne and Muncie today. @IndyThisWeek @rtv6

John Santucci ‏@JTSantucci  27m27 minutes ago
Sources tell @ABC late last night with Trump being grounded in Indy he met with Pence. No job was offered but the two had a "very good chat"

I guess this all comes together to say Trump still hasn't decided.

It turns out Trump and his kids are meeting with all three VP finalists. They actually met with Christie yesterday. Gingrich is in Indiana, and Trump&co are meeting with him later today. Looks like we're back to where we started: with no clue whatsoever.

There's also rumors swirling of an announcement today.

Trump stayed in Indiana due to technical problems with his plane.

Trump's advisers are split. Manafort is pushing hard for Pence and is very opposed to Gingrich (and also Christie somewhat). However, Jared Kushner prefers Gingrich partly due to Kushner's relationship with Sheldon Adelson who is pushing Gingrich. Trump's pollster Tony Fabrizio believes Flynn would be the best choice. The only question left is what Trump thinks (and recent reports say his gut says Christie).
