Two thoughts:

-It'd be amazing if Joe made a cameo in Game of Thrones
-Reid was the one that encouraged Obama to run I believe, and we know how that turned out

O'Malley has commissioned a poll from PPP of a hypothetical 2020 Iowa caucus. I'm not sure what else he can do besides shout from the rooftops that he's running again.

Discussion of said poll can be found here: https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=260768.msg5570040#new

In another possible sign Warren is running, she has just hired Kristen Orthman for her political team, who is a former top aide to Harry Reid (who recently told her to run for president).

Bill Maher brought up a possible presidential run with Sheldon Whitehouse, who shut it down pretty quickly.

There is a universe where, in 2021, Mark Cuban and Mr. Wonderful are discussing trade relations between the U.S. and Canada.

Castro is not the right person to counter Trump. Maybe he'd be good in a future election, but not 2020.

Says the guy whose name is "Castro2020".  Tongue

(Though yes, we've been over this before, re: your username.)

In any case, would be fun if someone did the statistics on potential candidates from past years who said something equivalent to "I won't take that off the table" when they're asked if they'll run for president in the next election.  It's got to be a very high %age of such people who actually end up running.  If you've pretty much already decided to run, then you say "maybe".  If you're not sure, then you deflect the question or give a denial.  Smiley

Not a big signal from Sherrod Brown, but bigger than most I've seen:

Gabriel Debenedetti @gdebenedetti
Sherrod Brown fundraising email: "Can you give $27?"
Think he's trying to channel anyone in particular?

O'Malley should chill out for a bit. At a certain point, too much pre-prep work will cause harm. Right now it looks like all he cares about is running for President, because for the moment all he's doing seems to indicate just that.

Martin O'Malley probably just lost himself a lot of voters: Bernie wouldn't have won

Warren said on Maddow that she's not running in 2020, although she uses the present tense.
