In the Maine caucuses (Drmocrats) Bernie has a slight lead, but we're talking 317-223 out of just two municipalities. Hundreds more to go.

In response to extraordinary turnout, party officials announced they would let those in line fill out a paper ballot – essentially an absentee ballot – once they made it inside the school rather than require everyone to participate in the traditional, town meeting-style caucus.

This could help Hillary narrow the gap.

Since its for people already in line, I don't see it doing too much for her.

I was thinking today that Sanders has actually won only 3 primaries, one of which was his home state.

And Clinton has only won 1 non-Southern primary. #CaucusStatesMatter #AllStatesMatter

Besides the fact that it's the Sanders campaign talking about states that "don't matter" I don't think you can say anymore that Virginia is a Southern state.

Do you have a direct quote from the Sanders campaign saying that certain states don't matter? It is a fact that some states are much more favorable to Clinton, just as it is a fact that some states are more favorable to Sanders. And yes, Virginia is a Southern state.

Many states that hold caucuses do this. It's par for the course.

Reason #4314 to abolish caucuses.

Looks like it'll be a 16-9 split, which means Sanders gained two pledged delegates on Clinton this weekend. If Sanders had put up some effort in LA, it probably could've been more.
If he does get 16, he will be 1 delegate above his 538 target for the weekend, having fallen four short in Louisiana, met his target in Nebraska, and exceeded his target by four in Kansas. Not exactly making up a lot of ground.

Hillary is running out of deep south states, though.

That's okay. Her 200 delegate lead is more than enough.

Luckily it's only a 199 delegate lead, she's going down.
