University students are usually not very concerned with collective bargaining. Just like poor minorities are generally not very concerned with renewable energy.
And it was still the third best county for this initiative.

Wow I didn't notice that Washtenaw voted no. Even without University students I would have thought it would still pass Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti are half the county population and both liberal.
