Wow. Let's hope he does the honorable thing and drops out after this. Truly shameful and disgusting.

Lief:

Trump announces outright ban on muslims: Hallelujah! What a great leader!

Low-level, likely dim-witted Sanders Staffer clicks something they're not supposed to and is quickly fired - Shameful, disgusting, Sanders needs to drop out now!

Hopefully Bernie does the right thing and drops out after this criminal scandal. How far up did this go?

Read the thread. Only one staffer was involved in this, and that staffer has already been fired. And in reality, the blame lies with the DNC vendor, not the Sanders campaign.

And if Sanders should drop out over this, then Clinton should do the same over emailgate. Stop pretending this is worse than that.

Sanders needs to threaten a third-party run.

People who are trying to spin this as no big deal have their heads in the sand. This is a huge scandal and a betrayal of the party's trust.

Again, one staffer was involved, no one else. I fail to see why this effects the entire campaign, or why it's okay for Hillary to stay in with emailgate but this is supposed to end Sanders' campaign.

And the fact that it was downloaded rejects the notion I've read elsewhere that it is "impossible" to prove it has been deleted.

If DWS doesn't regrant access soon, Sanders needs to make a serious threat to mount a third party run.

Funny that Martin Shrklrk and Bernie Sanders get arrested for fraud only a day apart.

Except Sanders hasn't actually been arrested...

Rather than just admit they screwed up, Sanders is acting like a petulant crybaby victim.

Admitting they screwed up would just make things worse. Suing the DNC is a good decision.

To anyone who thinks the DNC is going to follow any sort of reasonable timetable here: forget it. DWS has spent the whole year deliberately making sure Bernie isn't nominated. It's either Sanders sues them to force them to resolve this quickly, or this "independent investigation" lasts until at least Super Tuesday.

If the DNC wants Sanders to run as an independent, its strategy is working. Gross overreactions like this only serve to stain the image of the Democratic party. Yes the workers from the Sanders campaign involved should be held responsible, and the right people should be fired if found to be involved in any deliberate breach, but to suspend the entire group access to crucial campaign tools is verging on a subversion of democracy. I understand Lief's trolling on this topic, but the reactions of many of you are surprising and disappointing.

Amen.

If Sanders wants to run as an independent, he should do so. Get 4 or 5 percent, hand the election to the republican, and teach the democratic party a lesson about not trying to rig their nomination process. Priebus is being very fair on the Republican side, that's how DWS should be too.

BREAKING: WASHINGTON (AP) — Hillary Clinton campaign manager says its data was 'stolen' by Sanders campaign.

This is literally true, so?

Berniebots can't fathom that their progressive messiah might not be as beautiful, precious, and pure as they think he is.

Hillary supporters are too clueless to realize how ridiculous this makes them seem

BREAKING: WASHINGTON (AP) — Hillary Clinton campaign manager says its data was 'stolen' by Sanders campaign.

They keep this sh**t up, and I'm never voting for anyone who endorsed Hillary.

Wheres the lie?

The terminated employee was collecting data to file a bug. And he was fired for it.

That's what the staffer claims claims to have done, yes, but I see little reason to believe him.

--------------

Sanders was right to fire him and the deputy should go as well, but punishing the whole campaign over this is unjustified and nothing but pure Hillary Hackery.
