The AR-GOV race seems pretty interesting in the issues that the Republican candidate is running on.  When I saw several of the ads, especially the "computer science" I was surprised by the emphasis of the ads.   Is the fact that Asa's not just using "blame Obama" ads part of the reason he's leading now?  I am curious what those with more information would say about his strategy.  It seems much more non-ideological than the campaigns of many other gubernatorial hopefuls in red states.  Obama's only even mentioned in 1 ad, which is pretty surprising.

Yeah.  What I loved about the emphasis is that a lot of politicians think that education is good enough when kids pass their math/reading tests.  But Asa gets to the root of a key part of education - getting people to learn marketable skills.  I definitely would endorse Asa from what I've seen of him.  He seems like a really good guy.

This is a major part of everybody's least favorite policy idea Common Core, which is why it is attracting the evil support of corporate fatcats at Microsoft and Oracle.

Are you being satirical?  It's hard to tell sometimes with you.
