Bloomberg is socially left-wing and fiscally centrist.

Bloomberg supports cutting entitlements to reduce the deficit.

He supports raising the social security/retirement age.

He's pro-school vouchers.

He turned a $5 billion deficit into a $4 billion surplus (with a large portion of this coming from making huge cuts to city agencies)

He cut taxes on Wall Street and corporations as mayor. He's against a "Millionaire's Tax." Although he does support letting Bush's Tax Cuts expire.

I just can't see a guy like Bloomberg getting a significant portion of the Democratic vote for all the reasons listed above.

Bloomberg is probably the most-pro immigration and pro-gun control person on this planet.

He's also liberal on most issues. He's pro-welfare, pro-minimum wage increases, pro-gay marriage, etc.

I also can't see him getting a significant portion of the Republican vote.

Where does his support come from?

I think most of his support will come from independents, especially those that identify as "fiscally moderate, socially liberal"

I could also see him getting a significant portion of Democratic and Republican voters as a moderate alternative to Sanders and TRUMP.

What do you guys think?

I accidentally typed "anti-gun control"

I meant to type "pro-gun control"

I fixed it though. Sorry for the typo. My mistake.

LOL I would never vote for Michael Bloomberg. What would his platform be? "There has to be at least one billionaire in the race"?

Is him being a billionaire all you have against him? Both you and Bloomberg are pretty similar politically, and I recommend that you vote for him in a Trump v Sanders race.

Just to clarify, I don't think that Bloomberg would do so well. He'd only get 5% of the vote at best.

Bloomberg is too good for America anyways. He's someone who America needs but doesn't deserve
