This is something someone at a store I worked at was hoping for when I was living in Maine for a while last year. What if Olympia Snowe decided she wanted back in in 2014? That would involve primarying Susie, who she is known not to be the biggest fan of in the Senate while they were partners. They are both beloved by the people of Maine, but who would have won, and how close would it have been?

Snowe was always slightly more popular. They both are/were great, but I personally like Collins a little more.
