I really got mad at her when she posted "They only gave me 1 minute to speak at the DNC" and tried to stir tension in the party...and then we learned literally her only role was to nominate Bernie Sanders. Well, obviously they only gave you a minute. All you had to say was "I nominate Bernie Sanders for the Democratic nomination for president" and say a few nice things about him. And she doesn't get it, as others have said. You can't run on Defund the Police when you live in a district where all your constituents are cops. You can't say you support a government-run health system in a rural district where all your constituents are already wary of the government. Yes, AOC can win in the Bronx, because that's a district that will never elect a Republican. AOC cannot win in western Minnesota (heck, Collin Peterson can't even win in western Minnesota). She cannot win in Kentucky. I'm a progressive Democrat, but I'm also a realistic progressive Democrat. I'm glad that she's inspirational to so many people, but as someone who is almost the same age as her (I'm about seven months older than her) I think she has a lot to learn about politics.
