And a lot of these are fairly standard to activists. Atlas specific ones might include:

- randomly focusing on one state's mysteriously projected 'trend'
- ridiculously fierce wars over bellwether counties
- harebrained theories and truisms
- but what if complete nonentities were given the vp?
- deciding that Atlas is overenthuastic about one argument, so immediately rushing to the other extreme
- Talleyrand coming in to say that whatever he wants to happen, the absolute opposite will occur.
- utterly deranged historical parallels

And the most important tradition of all

- the servers break down on election night

There's a curious Atlas breed of them though. I can't say exactly what makes our pseudopsephological garbage smell nicer though.
