- the GOP should/will become libertarian in the future
- the GOP/Democrats will inevitably die out because of this random info from 2012 exit polls
- when will Vermont become republican?
- when will Texas become democratic?

Oh yeah libertarian States is a good one. Especially people who insist that just because a state has mountains means it is libertarians.

Realigning elections and cyclic election theory are two more crackpot ideas, as is Duverger's Law.

I think I have seen some figures showing there is some truth to this. After all most voters are very non-ideological and don't entirely make logical decisions from an ideological PoV.
