Dear friends,

I am happy to announce that I am exploring a bid to run for the Mideast Assembly. It took me a while to decide, but sufficient bribery flattery from various sources has convinced me that I can am for elected office. My main priorities if I am elected for the Labor Party is to:

1) be a productive and scientifically-minded member

2) Prioritise writing bills around my interests - the environment & agriculture, energy and common sense, progressive taxation.

Any questions (or complaints that I've posted this in the wrong section) are welcome! I await your judgement!

@Cassius, I'm not a libertarian on many issues, but marriage is one role I feel the state does not need to regulate.

While I would not seek to promote either polygamy or incest as particularly desirable lifestyles (due to the subversive effects these relationships can cause to wider society), I feel that these relationships make up such a minority they are hardly worth losing sleep over.

I should start campaigning, so I will start an open question thread! Any questions on my vision of the Mideast; simply ask me!
