LBJ and Nixon are both kind of similar politicians in that they both were kind of crazy, horrible people; but ended up effective politicians ruined by hubris.

I can't remember what I voted for LBJ. Possibly FF, because I think Vietnam would have happened whoever was in office... and pretty much every American President has had a few dodgy foreign excursions. It's part of the job description.
