This would be his most difficult problem in seeking the Republican nomination. The Republicans really are still high on purity tests and the major litmus tests, Abortion, Guns, Taxes and immigration are fairly non-negotiable at this point.

He's not going to win the Republican nomination, but he might nonetheless run in the GOP primaries just to troll Trump.
