Ballotpedia says that our next deadlines are Idaho (Republicans only) and Oklahoma on Wednesday, Viriginia on Thursday, and Michigan on Friday.

Where do we stand on those?  Looks like no one’s filed in Oklahoma yet, but that’s because, according to their SoS website:

https://www.ok.gov/elections/

filing doesn’t even start until Monday.  So I guess candidates then have Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday to file, and that’s it.

Clinton, O’Malley, and Sanders all on the list in Oklahoma.

On the GOP side, it’s Rubio, Carson, Christie, Santorum, Huckabee, Fiorina, Bush, Kasich, and Trump:

https://www.ok.gov/elections/documents/2016PPPCandidateList.pdf

So Cruz, Gilmore, Graham, Pataki, and Paul have yet to file, but they have until Wednesday.

So I guess the Oklahoma filing deadline was today.  Is this the final list?:

https://www.ok.gov/elections/documents/2016PPPCandidateList.pdf

If so, then I guess all the candidates made it on the ballot except for Gilmore and Pataki.

I think Gilmore and Pataki are still the only candidates who've been left off of any of the ballots completely, though some of the others have failed to field full delegate slates in certain states.

So apparently Gilmore, Huckabee, Pataki, and Santorum haven't yet submitted their signatures in Virginia?

The Idaho deadline has passed, and all the candidates except Gilmore and Pataki made it on the ballot:

Meanwhile, all 14 Republican candidates are on the North Carolina ballot:

Huckabee and Santorum have both submitted their signatures in Virginia:

http://www.richmond.com/news/virginia/article_b7b8a1f9-a7d7-5ac7-aa53-22cc7aacf55f.html

That leaves Gilmore and Pataki as the only candidates to have not done so.

Looks like Gilmore submitted his signatures for the Virginia ballot, meaning that Pataki is the only one who missed out:

http://www.richmond.com/news/virginia/article_b7b8a1f9-a7d7-5ac7-aa53-22cc7aacf55f.html

Not sure if they’ve verified all the signatures for all the candidates yet though, so I don’t know if everyone who submitted their petitions is definitely on the ballot.

So Ballotpedia now lists today as the deadline for both Arizona and Texas.  Where do we stand on those?

Looks like all the GOP candidates except Gilmore and Pataki are already on the Arizona ballot:

Pataki made it onto the Arizona ballot, but Gilmore didn't:

http://www.azsos.gov/elections/voting-election/election-information/prespref2016rep

Meanwhile, both Gilmore and Pataki missed the Texas filing deadline:

In Ohio Roque "Rocky" de la Fuente filed to run for the Democrats while George Pataki, once again, didn't file for the Republicans

Gilmore is of course the other Republican candidate who didn't file in Michigan.  He's apparently sufficiently obscure that that story didn't even mention his name.

Maine caucus: 12 of the 14 Republican candidates make it on the ballot:

http://www.mainegop.com/maine-gop-announces-2016-presidential-nominating-caucus-candidates/

Who's missing?  Gilmore and Pataki of course.  Gilmore and Pataki are also the only candidates who miss the filing deadline in Ohio:

link

However, Christie, Graham, Huckabee, Paula, and Santorum, while making it on the Ohio ballot, don't have a full delegate slate.  The other seven candidates do.  So what happens if one of those five candidates wins Ohio?

What other deadlines are coming up?  Ballotpedia says Dec. 21 for NC and Dec. 29 for MO, and that's it for December.

Does anyone know when the NH primary date will be officially set ?

On the NH SOS page, there's still no official date for this thing and I guess they will have to mail out the absentee ballots at some point ...

Huh

I just explained in the primary calendar thread that Bill Gardner has now set the date:

On Monday at 12:15pm, there will be a random drawing to decide the order of names on the North Carolina primary ballot.  More info here:

http://www.ncsbe.gov/ncsbe/candidate-filing

Apparently, you can watch a live stream of it on the internet(!).

So no O'Malley on the Ohio ballot, plus Huckabee and Santorum only make it in certain districts.  And no Gilmore there either, which should come as no surprise.

Ballotpedia says that the Minnesota caucuses had a deadline today, but I can't find any info on it out there in the interwebs.

According to this story:

http://ballot-access.org/2016/01/04/ten-republican-presidential-candidates-qualify-for-district-of-columbia-caucus/

Gilmore and Huckabee both failed to make it onto the DC ballot.  All of the other remaining GOP candidates made it.

Clinton, Sanders, O'Malley, and De La Fuente all made it onto the MN Democratic caucus ballot:

http://www.austindailyherald.com/2016/01/state-dfl-oks-4-candidates-for-caucus/

Not sure about the GOP caucus ballot.

Here's a story on the Illinois ballot filing:

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/politics/ct-illinois-president-march-2016-primary-met-20160106-story.html

I guess Gilmore isn't on the ballot at all, and both Huckabee and Santorum have hardly any delegate candidates in the state?  Every other GOP candidate has at least 80% of their delegate slots filled?

Meanwhile, on the Dem. side:

I guess the Kentucky caucus deadline is today?  According to this:

http://rpk.org/caucus/

it looks like everyone but Gilmore has filed there.

Puerto Rico filing deadline yesterday.  Sent Puerto Rico GOP asking for list of qualified candidates for March Primary..  Dems do by caucus.

Bush, Carson, Trump, Rubio, Kasich, and Santorum.. Pataki also filed, but has withdrawn.  I heard back from the Puerto Rico Republicans.  There may be others.   Interesting.  No Cruz yet.

But the deadline has passed?  So if no Cruz yet, then he's not going to be on the ballot?

Maybe Puerto Rico's too "foreign" for Cruz, as he tries to convince everyone that he's not Canadian.  Tongue

As I understand it, the deadline has just passed in Vermont.  As shown on this page:

https://www.sec.state.vt.us/media/701018/2016-Qualified-Candidates.pdf

all of the GOP candidates except Gilmore and Huckabee filed.  Unless one or both of them filed at the last minute, and they have yet to update the page?

Confirmed list of candidates who qualified for the Vermont ballot here:

Gilmore and Huckabee didn't make it.

Today was the deadline for the Kansas caucuses.  Looks like all the Republican candidates except for Gilmore managed to file there:

According to that chart, Mississippi's deadline was the 15th. Any word on anybody missing out?

I don't know.  I just went to the MS SoS site:

http://www.sos.ms.gov/Elections-Voting/Pages/default.aspx

it doesn't list the candidates for president.  Not sure where to look.
