Where is Romney? I thought Romney was in the negatives most of the time when he was running for the nomination in 2012.

In the negatives among the general electorate, not among Republicans.  The figure is for favorability among your own party.  Romney was ~+30 among Republicans at this time four years ago.  Not great by historical standards, but better than what Bush and Trump are getting now.
