1992 would have been extremely interesting to discuss here up until the DNC, when Clinton got such a big polling boost that he was favored through to election day.  In May 1992 or so, the national polling was virtually a 3-way tie between Bush, Clinton, and Perot, and all the projections were for an election with no EC majority.  Imagine if we'd had as many state polls back then as we get nowadays.
