Which team will win Super Bowl XLVII?

49ers 40% (60% in California)
Patriots 35% (78% in Massachusetts)
Ravens 16% (52% in Maryland)
Falcons 9% (57% in Georgia)

The patterns here are simple: Georgia likes the Falcons, Maryland likes the Ravens, New England likes the Patriots, Michigan likes Tom Brady, Washington doesn't like the 49ers.

That would be a good 1980 map if John Anderson's candidacy really took off.

It is actually pretty close to a Reagan 43% Anderson 33% Carter 23% map, if you imagine nearly uniform swings.

It also kind of reminds me of the 2000 GOP primary map, with New England being paired with Michigan and a western state.

This is interesting.  Maps of NFL fandom generated by Facebook mapping which teams got the most "likes" in every county in the USA:

I'm actually a little surprised that Syracuse and Ithaca are Giants country.

Ithaca is filled with college students from the NYC metro area.
