One thing I always love to read after each presidential election is the "special issue" on the campaign that was that comes out just after the election.  The reporters are granted special access to the campaigns on the condition that they don't print their story until after the campaign is over.  I just finished reading the online version of Newsweek's issue, which begins here:

It certainly paints a picture of the Kerry campaign being in a perpetual state of disarray.
