iii) Major political parties would still be Republicans and Democrats, but the Republican Party of Pacifica would moderate on social matters and become more inventive. Nevada would almost certainly go with them, and Las Vegas would be a welcome economic area. If Nevada goes, the pro-firearm faction might retain some power.
I wouldn't mind if it happened because it would be open season on Northeastern liberals in the United States. Nothing is worse than status quo liberals. At least the left-coast are true progressives.
