This is shady, yes, but I don't know why he has to resign because of what something somebody did other than himself.

I still don't know why he needs to resign. I feel like this happens all the time and it's never discovered.

Kitzhaber's seemed kind of off to me for a while now.

I've seen a few mentions - none of them necessarily credible, I should add - that Kitzhaber has been showing symptoms of dementia since the second half of his previous term.

Not buying it unless you post link(s) to the claims. I remember someone saying the same thing about Neil Abercrombie and I could never find it anything.
