If there is a Dem/not a Republican hold in Alaska, I'll be ecstatic.

Good to see the Alaska Democratic Party wants to win.

So to be clear, there isn't going to be a Democratic candidate, and now it'll be Walker for Governor, who will stay a Independent, and Mallott for Lieutenant Governor, who will stay a Democrat, right?

Isn't Walker more conservative than Parnell? I'm not sure this is going to work.

Presumably Walker will make some concessions should he be elected. He likely wouldn't have been able to win without a sort of deal like this.

It's a confusing as hell move. I don't know why Democrats are embracing this.

They are embracing this deal because it's better to have a Democrat be the Lieutenant Governor, and a conservative who has to concede to the Alaska Democrats because they got him elected.

With some money, good campaigning and alot of effort, we could see this pan out.
