That's really not surprising. He really brings out the worst in people who have waited this long to scratch their itch.

Yes, but which of these T-shirts would those schoolchildren be wearing? And why?

Political correctness is alive and well...

What wrong with just "I stand with my neighbors" ?

A very good question. Perhaps we should ask MoveOn.org, who sells the Muslim version; the Christian version doesn't exist, as it's much too distasteful.,,

I've yet to hear any politician say we should have constant police surveillance on Christians, that Christians should be banned from entering the country, that the religion itself should be banned altogether, or that they should all be gassed to death. But of course, modern American Protestants think that having to sell pizza to someone is being oppressed, while the Muslim community faces discrimination, vandalization of their houses of worship, assault, murder, and now deportation if Donald Trump has his way.

.... or maybe it's not that "its much too distasteful," but more because Christians here, are not discriminated and hated (by some in the general public) is such vile ways that Muslims are.
Maybe.

Yeah, it really sucks being an overwhelmingly wealthy group catered to by every corporate diversity initiative that is also racist/sexist/Nazi to criticize in any way despite the vastly disproportionate security risk posed.

I've yet to hear any politician say we should have constant police surveillance on Christians

Might happen if Christians were 30x more likely to commit acts of political violence and if people got beheaded for drawing pictures of Jesus (I don't think people got beheaded even during the Beeldenstorm)

Well they actually kind of are more likely to commit acts of political violence, and that's my point exactly. Right wing extremists who are overwhelmingly extreme Christians, are far more of a threat to your safety than radical Muslims are, statistically speaking. Blowing up/shooting up abortion clinics and bombing federal buildings are just some of the politically-motivated terrorist attacks we've seen just in my lifetime (1995-present) and yet nobody reflexively calls for Christians to be deported or watched by the police.

Exodus 22:18: You shall not permit a sorceress to live.

Deuteronomy 13:5: That prophet or dreamer must be put to death for inciting rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery. That prophet or dreamer tried to turn you from the way the Lord your God commanded you to follow. You must purge the evil from among you.

Deuteronomy 17:2-5, 7: If a man or woman living among you in one of the towns the Lord gives you is found doing evil in the eyes of the Lord your God in violation of his covenant, and contrary to my command has worshiped other gods, bowing down to them or to the sun or the moon or the stars in the sky, and this has been brought to your attention, then you must investigate it thoroughly. If it is true and it has been proved that this detestable thing has been done in Israel, take the man or woman who has done this evil deed to your city gate and stone that person to death...You must purge the evil from among you.

Luke 19:27: But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and kill them in front of me.

I'm against all religion because they all yield the same result. But everyone has the right to practice whatever faith they choose and further have the right to be able to do so without fear of harassment, intimidation, assault, or murder.
