I have no information to add in this post but thank you to PSOL for keeping this thread alive and keeping us informed on the doings of some of our country's parties.

Cornel West is now running for president for the People's Party. Discuss with maps.

If he makes the ballot, this is probably pretty bad for Biden, as polls show him losing 10% of primary voters to RFK.
I hardly think 10% of Democrats will end up pulling a lever for RFK Jr in a general election. I think his best chance was in the primary where he was a good protest choice. In a general election, many Democrats that might have voted for him in the primary will feel that they are throwing the election to Trump.

So this is the third label has had since June. By January I expect his campaign to have had stints with the Constitution, Libertarian, Alliance, and Transhumanist parties.

Apparently Emanuel Pastreich is no longer running for the Green nomination. So this leaves them with just one candidate according to Wikipedia: Randy Tyler. Two more, Jasmine Sherman and Jorge Zavala according to twitter.

Here's an excerpt from the Vanity Fair article the favorite son idea was proposed in.

Quote
But there is another option. That is: No Labels makes good on its pledge to ensure that Trump is not elected. By denying him victory in one or more of the key swing states. By putting a Republican No Labels candidate on the ballot, but only in those pivotal states. Imagine a favorite son or daughter approach. In other words: backing a willing Republican who is particularly popular in a battleground state. For example: Pat McCrory in North Carolina. Doug Ducey in Arizona. Brian Kemp in Georgia. Mitt Romney in Nevada. Paul Ryan in Wisconsin. Tom Ridge in Pennsylvania. John Engler in Michigan. Or how about Liz Cheney in any or all of them? You know she’d be game to push a big stick into Trump’s electoral spokes.

Per the party's twitter, RFK Jr. met with Reform Party leaders.

Is there any chance of state Libertarian parties nominating someone other than Chase Oliver? Since several state Constitution parties have done similar things.
