he'd lose about 53-45% nationwide IMO.  Obama's ceiling of course is higher than Clinton's, but the same general idea.

Romney wouldn't do as poorly as you 1964 people seem to think...  it'd be more like Bob Dole than Barry Goldwater.  no Dem is going to approach 60%.
