I know you will reject me forcefully, but I would like to lay down my plan for the AFDNC and reasoning as to why I should become chairman.

First of all, I will be out of my job come August, as the UAC is gerrymandering redistricting, throwing me into a district with Confusee-dominated Pennsylania and removing Massachusetts from my district.  A similar situation has struck my friend and colleague StatesRights.

My plan for primaries is this:

-Allow the UL to vote in the primaries
-Allow Democrats to vote in the primaries

Now the Three Primaries:

1st Primary: All registered voters may vote (Other than UAC member), and each vote receives one delegate to the convention.

2nd Primary: Same as first primary.  2 delegates per vote.

3rd Primary: Only Registered Democrats and United Leftists may vote.  Each vote carries 4 delegates to the convention.

If I do become the next chairman, I will set dates for the primaries and will announce the venue for our next convention.

Sincerely,
David Holland

Hmmm, I think the final primary shuold be 4 delegates per vote, just to stress the importance that it is a DEMOCRATIC primary.

makes sense.

Well, that's certainly not a way to promote anti-UAC unity which seems to be your platform for party chairman.

You got it Smiley

Boss Tweed would simply drag the Democratic name through the dirt once again. I wholeheartedly anti-endorse him.

I don't see who would be more effective?  I will admit, Ben was a better chairman than I, but then he deserted us.
