Barring a major unforseen event, Edwards will win South Carolina.

SC Poll taken 1/11-1/13:

Dean 25%
Clark 23%
Edwards 17%
Sharpton 12%
Gephardt 6%
Lieberman 5%
Moseley-Braun 4%
Kerry 2%
Kucinich 1%
undecided 7%

Obviously, this is outdated.

Edwards should win SC... and Sharpton might come second... and will probably win a few counties.
And a few delegates, which land the clown a spot at the convention.

Anyone else think Dave should have just had one thread saying "feb 3 primaries"?  this is a bit much.

I'd say Edwards in SC, but kerry is up to 17% after not being their since his air craft carrier photo op and he has spent no money on feb 3 states.

No, I think it's nice with different threads...Kerry will win the nomination, I'm pretty sure of that now. Edwards should still be able to carry SC though, especially if Clark continues to lose support.
It isn't over at all, edwards and Kerry will split on Feb. 3.  It will be between them 2.

Edwards wouldn't help Kerry, Kerry would lose every southern state anyway.  A midwestern VP would help Kerry.

New ARG poll released 1/31:

Edwards 30%
Kerry 23%
Clark 12%
Sharpton 10%
Dean 9%
Lieberman 3%
Kucinich 1%
undecided 12%

And the Zogby poll released yesterday:

Edwards 30%
Kerry 25%
Dean 10%
Clark 10%
Sharpton 7%
Lieberman 6%
Kucinich 1%
undecided 9%

---

Kerry will still be the nominee, but I am holding onto the fading light of John Edwards.
