So, according to Olbermann, a person is "intolerant" if they believe what they believe in is the truth?

No, Gibson was being intolerant by saying that there is a "right religion" and anyone who doesn't follow it will have consequences.

The bible backs him up in that regard.  Look at the emboldened words in jmfcst's last post.

Last I heard, our country isn't ruled by the Bible.

National broadcasters shouldn't be making comments on TV about any right or wrong religion. If Gibson truly believes that, he should keep it to himself.

No, the country isn't ruled by the bible, but Christians are.  Gibson was stating his personal beliefs as a Christian.  If you disagree with what he says, fine, but he has every right to say it and it isn't deplorable in any way.  MSNBC isn't government television, it's a privately owned network.

He is clearly being intolerant by suggesting that there is a "right" religion.

The bible claims that Christianity is the only "right" religion!  Look at the bold in jmfcst's last post.

Doesn't matter, it's still a hateful comment towards those who are not Christians.  Gibson clearly deserves any criticism he receives for this comment and his phony War on Christmas.

Are you a Christian?
