Why would he? His loss is only a wound. This isn't a panic situation like his loss in South Carolina was.

Shouldn't the current frontrunner be winning at least the handful of states he won the last time he ran?

the standard retort here is that last time he positioned himself as the right-wing alternative to inevitability, this time he is the inevitable.
