an NYG-NE Super Bowl perhaps would grant me my fourth sports title series between my two least favorite teams in their respective leagues (ATL-NYY 99; NYG-NE 07; NYY-PHI 09).  not totally clear if I dislike the Patriots more than, say, Pittsburgh, but it's far too close for comfort.

a dude on JetsInsider pointed out.  4 of the Jets 8 losses came to teams playing yesterday.  3 of the Jets 8 losses came to teams playing in the Super Bowl.
