Why is the president silent as Nyman is threatened with nuclear destruction?

The "Teutonian president" is literally citing a report from the Secretary of Internal Affairs, dated from two days ago (one day before this Teutonian president was in office), that states the official situation in and around New York. The good and brave people of the Northeastern National Guard and regular forces of the Atlasian Army have combatted the menace that is the craven russophile pseudo-revolutionary and his "revolutionary junta". Rather than talking about non existing threats, I would recommend you to leave your hideout, and put yourself in before a trial!

I believe the Senate is in the business of appropriating funds, or at the very least, FEMA and other emergency management organizations have to issue the declaration to allocate their existing budgets to such emergency affairs.

Oh yes, I know this is Senate business, probably I worded myself a bit wrongly. I wanted to show commitment from the Federal Government, and urge the Senate to pass such a resolution.
