I wish to request the endorsement of the Federalist Party for the Midwest Senate election. During my time in Atlasia I have always tried my best to collaborate with other parties, and I have a long history of sucessfully working with Federalists in the Mideast Assembly, in the Midwest and as Spamage's running mate back in September. I feel that there a certain ideological closeness between me and the Federalists on several issues (such as a pro-life approach, and a deep distaste for acts like Pacific Rim), and I had the pride of counting with many Federalists among my endorsers and supporters. We don't always share the same beliefs, but I want to count with this party during this campaign and as a Senator.

Let's do this. Smiley

Do we have a clear answer to the question, "who is in charge here?"

Yes. A similar situation basically destroyed the Whig Party back in the fall of 2012, so I included a section for succession snafus in our by-laws. I'm on my phone now so it's difficult to hunt down the exact wording down, but I was looking at the by-laws just yesterday... So I am positive we have a perscription for a solution.

If we find ourselves in the position of having no leaders, our senior-most senator will be in charge of running elections to fill the vacancies. That would be Yankee. He's aware of this responsibility, but I think he's waiting until the election is over, which kind of makes sense. Don't need any hubbub or distractions. I know the candidates are working hard to get out the vote, do the ship is still running as smoothly as possible under the circumstances. It's all good.

Okay, great. I was concerned. Thank you, sir.

My fellow Atlasians,

I am here, before the convention, to apologize to my home, the Federalist Party. I am sorry, my friends, for making a lapse of judgment and abandoning the party that has housed my ideas and welcomed me to the game. This party, my party, the Federalist Party are the people with which my loyalty lies.

Hours earlier, I posted in the New Register Thread something that I quickly came to regret. After its lightning-fast ascendance, I was wooed by members of the People's Party into joining their party for a number of hours. After a healthy dose of realism, I returned to my decision and realized its flaws. I should never have, and I deeply regret that lapse in judgement.

I ask the members of the Federalist Party for their absolute forgiveness, their understanding, and their continued inclusiveness. I hope that, together, we can enact a new age of Atlasian conservatism that is made of bold solutions and big ideas. I thank you for your understanding and look forward to our time together.

There was no such a thing of pressuring you to leave. There is something related with ideology. When I told you that I was surprised with you joining in TPP it had nothing to do with personal distaste, off course not! What I was thinking about was that, ideologically, you would feel better in the Federalists...

Oh no no no. Don't blame yourself or anything. I wasn't pressured to leave.
