NF style politics would make no sense - either electorally or logically - in America.
There are some signs that Santorum is shifting that way. It would actually fill a good gap in America that hasn't really been filled since Wallace's candidacy in 1968-ie an explicitly anti-socialist but also anti-big business populism to appeal to alienated elements of the white working-class. The National Front admittedly started out advocating neoliberal economics, but the same thing could happen with certain Tea Party politicians.

Nah, Santorums economic views are pretty mainline Republican. Never seen him say anything similiar to the National front on economics.
The NF is pretty leftist on economic issues.
