I'm curious, what exactly is the politics of this party?
Advice to you, except for Ilikeverin you do not want to be anywhere near any of these people.  Xahar is a felon, SewerSocialist is a nutcase, and Earl and Lewis are just well, Earl and Lewis

Thanks... I think? :?

You have just been fatally insulted, and you say "thanks"? Huh

Thanks Lief!
I was momentarily confounded by the assertion that we ought to be treated differently from each other in Atlasian terms.

Yup, though I hope to save even more time by using "Ch".

Hence "Ch"!  It doesn't even have a vowel! Smiley

"Che" would be more accurate Wink, if you don't mind a little post from a big bad blue.
And for the pronunciation, it's also better... in every language Wink

No, just "ch".  And the pronunciation varies in a lot of ways:

  • Aspirated [k] in Ancient Greek and Upper Sorbian. (that's the sound "c" makes in "cat", not "scat")
  • [ʃ]/[ S] in Breton, French, Portuguese, and English words from French.
  • [t͡ʃ]/[tS] in much of English, Spanish, and some dialects of Occitan.
  • [ts] in other dialects of Occitan.
  • [k] (aspiration context- and language-dependent) in Italian before "e" and "i", in German before "s", and in English sometimes when words are borrowed from Greek.
  • (a phlegmmy kind of noise) in Irish, Scottish Gaelic, Manx, many Germanic languages, many Slavic languages, and Welsh.
  • [ç]/[C] when not following back vowels or [a] in German.
  • [c] in Vietnamese.
  • The voiceless dental aspirated velar dental click in Xhosa and Zulu ([k|ʰ]/...oh dear, um, [k|\_h]?!).
  • In Palauan, the glottal stop (the thing in the middle of "uh-oh" and, in most American dialects, "button")

So, in theory, we could have many splinter groups Grin

[ʃ]/[ S] in Breton, French, Portuguese, and English words from French.

I've never heard any Breton word with 'ch' pronounced as any French word with 'ch' is. Bro-C'hall is pronounced Bro-Rall.

"c'h" and "ch" are different sounds.  "C'h" is actually the [x ] phlegmmy noise from German/Gaelic/Slavic/Welsh (and also found in other languages, though they don't use "ch"), which I'm not surprised you transcribe as "r", as it sounds relatively close to a (Continental) French "r".

Where do you get this information? I want.

Where else?

Psssh! My classes start this Wednesday, and I'm running for Governor. Then again, I don't have much of a life. Tongue

You would add some much needed humor to the Senate. Grin Besides, we need more Midwesterners in there.

He was in the Senate, he appointed himself to the seat Jedi now holds if I am correct back in January.

And I was elected to it a while back, too.

For Senate. I mean, I don't know who to first preference (after I write in everyone in the party)

I support Co-Chairman Earl's excellent idea for the initial preferences.
After which I shall most probably preference Igg and the Right Honourable Member for Edinburgh.

What a delightful idea!  In fact, I propose that the Right Honourable Member for Edinburgh be made an honorary honorary member honorarily of honorary the Honorary Leipist National Front Honorary Wing, seeing as he's a nice guy and whatnot.

Hamilton is a member of the LNF and I see no reason to kick him out until he does something to deserve it.

If everything he done so far isn't reason enough to be intensely suspicious of him, nothing will be.

Anyone in the LNF who actually defends Hamilton in this party is either hopelessly ignorant of Atlasian events or sadistic enough to actually hope for hell to be raised.

Not really.  You can't really do any harm to the LNF "internal party apparatuses" because they don't really exist.

Obviously if he took to creating some just to manipulate them, or some such, well, then I'd bolt and start my own party, or join Al's, or some such activity.

My point is what he has already done should be enough to prove he is a toxic presence. This is what I mean when I accuse some of you of being ignorant, you're acting like nothing Hamilton did before he joined the LNF matters anymore.

Why would it?  It's not like there's anything he can do to or within the LNF that would be any worse than what he could or would do as an independent.
