Yes, for 11.5 months.  Except I asked her out online.  But, I did it officially later.  But, I never actually asked her to go anywhere.  But, I was really busy.  But, it was in middle school.  But, it lasted for almost a year in middle school, which is eons in normal people years.  But, I never kissed her.  But, we both agreed that we were not emotionally mature enough and would wait for high school.  But, we're still friends.

Anyway, I'm too afraid of rejection to have had one since, though I finally asked a girl out earlier this month!  (she was overcome with appreciation for my attractive physique and gorgeous face and said "no".  I find that attitude completely understandable Smiley)

Still no change on my front, though this year I took the initiative twice.  Both managed to misinterpret my asking them out to mean "as BFF's", which was awkward.  Especially because this was not clarified with the second one until after the "outing" was over.  Um.

On a lighter note, I was massively hit on during a round of quiz bowl recently (trust me, if my entire quiz bowl team noticed, including me, it was blatant.  Oddly, it was the sentence "I really liked your Spanish *insert strange head motions here*" that was used to do the flirting).  So I hope to pursue this possibility.

Several, but of varying degrees of seriousness.  My current one will cease to be my girlfriend later this year.

Unless it is being forcedon you, ie she's moving to Swaziland, why keep it going if its destined to end?

Oh wait, there's that thing with the thing and the not-thing....

I most certainly don't intend for it to end, and I strongly doubt that she does either.

If that's the case, that's sad that you still think it will.  Sad

Read between the lines, Phil.  She'll no longer be my girlfriend later this year...  Wink

Yes. There's a reason I started seeing guys. Wink
No, seriously.

Interesting anecdote. Some girl flirted with me like crazy awhile back. We went to the movies and everything and we seemed to be getting along. Then I found out from one of my friends that she had flirted/dated about 5 other guys.. Within the same semester. Needless to say, I haven't given her a second glance since.

In general, if you were to get into a relationship with a random person off the street, picking a woman would be more likely to yield you a committed partner than a man.
