Perhaps asking the players whether they were ready to start would be a good idea, as I will be gone from tomorrow 'till next Saturday without any internet access whatsoever Wink

Perhaps you should SHUT UP and accept your loss like a man.

Okay, fine, we'll put the game on hold until next Saturday.

Nah, let Lewis take over for the week, srsly.

YAYZ IM BACK

I'll let Lewis issue orders for this turn, and then defenestrate him or something.  Maybe we'll have Collaborative Diplomacy (tm) or something.

Great job playing mother Russia Ernest. It seems as though she's flailing about lost amidst the English tide.
I wasn't helped by Germany going kaput.  Only thing I regret is not allowing for a Serbian retreat after last turn.  That was a definite mistake.
I was just as surprised as you that there would be a way of ensuring the longevity of that unit without silliness Shocked

I would like to express my appreciation towards Austria for playing on, when other players in losing positions have seemingly just dropped out.

Victory is within our grasp!  It is just around the corner!  Just you wait until 1904; that will be the year we conquer TEH HOLE WORLD OMG!  Österreichische Aufständisch-Revolutionäre Fenstersturzkräfte forever!

I think Turkey, Russia and Germany should be put under Austrian control.

Let the Austrian insurrection sweep the continent!  From the steppes of Russia to the plains of Germany to the nothing-particularly-stereotypical of Turkey, we will rise up and break the bonds of Anglolatirussogallic fascism!  Up with the Archduke!  Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaargh!

I would rather the game to continue with ilikeverin commanding the remaining minor powers.
However, if this is unacceptable to bullmoose and Emsworth, I will agree to the tie.
I hesitate to seem uncooperative, but since combining the minor powers would be especially disadvantageous to me (while affecting France very little, and affecting England not at all), I must reluctantly object.
