The biggest mistake Jones has made so far is coming out as pro-choice, even Joe Donnelly and Joe Manchin pull it off pretty well. The pic of him and Hillary is pretty bad as well. I kind of wish Sue Bell Cobb ran for Senate instead of Governor.

I'm confused where is the 'I'm Doug Jones and I approve this ad'?

Alabama law doesn't require that. There's a "paid for by Doug Jones for Senate. Approved by Doug Jones." line at the bottom of the final few frames.

Also what a weird thing to focus on.

All candidates running for federal office have to do it.

Online ads are different but it has to be said for TV ads is my understanding. So this may be an online only ad and not for TV.

I said this before, Jones coming out as pro-choice is his biggest mistake and it will probably cost him the election. Sadly abortion is probably a bigger hangup with AL voters than Moore's indiscretions.

Unless the Jones campaign is willingly breaking FEC rules then its an online ad maybe for YouTube and FB. Maybe they think the ad is too racy for TV.

Why is Jones not hitting Moore on the Higdon case?

They should go after him on this too.

Part of me thinks Jones pro-choice stance is the sole thing costing him this race, but then I think if it wasn't abortion it'd be another issue people would use as an excuse. Gay marriage, taxes, Hillary, Obama people would look any excuse not to vote for a Dem.

I am reading some of these anecdotes on black voters and wondering where the hell is Jones advertising? Urban radio is huge outlet to reach black voters, BET, shows like Empire, blackish it seems pretty simple.

In retrospect maybe Doug Jones was not the best candidate for this race, I can't help but think Sue Bell Cobb or Walt Maddox would be doing better.

I think the abortion issue was a huge mistake on Jones part, he was a rookie candidate and he gave Moore and the GOP something to exploit. Cobb and Maddox have won in AL and they wouldn't have made the same mistake, they know how to message on social issues.
