The snarky comments about him doing this on the way out are kind of stupid, considering a) he's only been in office as long as Trump, and never had any real power to influence anything, and b) he spoke out against Trump in the past. Yeah, feel free to criticize him for voting for Trump and contributing to the problem, but it makes sense to me that, for some people, Trump's direct and open assault on American democracy after the election is the last straw.
